Dr. Jeremy Brook is a Los Angeles Chiropractor, FRC® Mobility Specialist, with certifications in KINSTRETCH, yoga, and wellness science, whose mission is to create excellence in human performance and elevate consciousness in how we approach life from the way we breathe, move, feed our body and mind, and rest to the way we connect to others. In 2001, Dr. Brook founded The Life Center Chiropractic, a unique healing oasis that incorporates the disciplines of chiropractic, spinal corrective protocols, yoga, and other movement art forms to make sure the spine, body, and mind are aligned.

Dr. Brook understands the necessary components required in achieving optimal health. His perspective stems from a background involving yoga, college athletics at UC Irvine, and biology. This perspective allows him to truly offer people a way to find balance within, while creating a body that is strong and flexible and exploding with “motion for life.” After graduating from the University of California at Irvine in 1996 with a degree in biology, he entered Palmer College of Chiropractic-West, one of the world’s most prestigious chiropractic schools. It was there he earned the Virgil V. Strang Award for philosophical excellence and the Chiropractic Advancement Award for his graduating class.

In addition to practicing several forms of yoga through the years, Dr. Brook has also studied with some of modern yoga’s most well-respected and innovative instructors. In 2004 he took his first yoga training with Chuck Miller and Maty Ezraty, the original founders of YogaWorks, and the following year he trained with Erich Schiffmann. It was combination of Dr. Brook’s Ashtanga practice under the watchful eye of Miller as well as Schiffmann’s unique sequencing that influenced not only his personal practice where he began creating his own mini sequences that addressed his own injuries, but he was also able to use his new knowledge in yoga for his patients to great success as well.

Dr. Brook is also certified in KINSTRETCH, a movement enhancement system that develops maximum body control, flexibility and usable ranges of motion.

Since 2005, Dr. Brook has been teaching an anthropological, evolutionary and energetic approach to Yoga Anatomy at several of America’s premier yoga studios. His teaching style is one that includes alignment, power, precision, focus, intensity with the respect for ancient concepts of life force in order to create balance in the body, mind and spirit.

Dr. Brook offers his continuing education seminar for Doctors of Chiropractic called…. THE SPINECHECKER’S ANATOMY OF THE SPINE: A Functional and Vitalistic Approach to Alignment, Movement, and Vibrancy. This training is a comprehensive body-mind-spine lecture and interactive training program grounded in scientific principals and research…specifically designed for those who want to integrate an innate-movement/stretching/strengthening/breathing program into their practice.

Dr. Brook is also a head chiropractic adjusting instructor for MLS 1 Adjusting Seminar. MLS or Mastery Love Service was created by Master Chiropractor Dr. Arno Burnier who has trained many of THE top chiros in the profession. This approach to adjusting can be used with any technique from Upper Cervical, to Gonstead, Diversified, or Chiropractic Biophysics. This unique approach to structural adjusting honors the person's spine, nervous system and entire being. Precision, lightning speed and extreme specificity are central to this form of adjusting. Stay tuned as this seminar will also be continuing education approved!

Dr. Brook's book, THE SPINECHECKER’S MANIFESTO, is an integrative approach to healing and healthier living that incorporates vitalistic philosophy, metaphysics, epigenetics and simple step-by-step yogic sequences that will teach you how to align, move, stretch, strengthen, energize, and access the sacred geometry of your body and mind.

In 2018, due to the demand of his patients, Dr. Brook created SPINECHECKER UNIVERSITY, an online program where you can learn how to align, move, strengthen and maintain the health of your spine, joints, and muscles, all from home.

When he’s not “spinechecking” and adjusting, he can be found on his yoga mat, lifting weights at Deuce Gym, and slacklining between palm trees on Venice Beach.
